Neighborhood
Place
Seven Counties also provides some services
at the Neighborhood Place locations in Jefferson County. Neighborhood
Place is a partnership of agencies, of which Seven Counties Services
is one, that have come together in a community-based "one-stop"
center.
The goal of these agencies is to provide
accessible and responsive services that support the community and
the families and individuals who live in those communities. For

JADAC is an 80-bed alcohol/drug treatment facility
that offers a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient treatment
and support services, as described below, for alcohol and/or drug
dependent adults and their families.
All services are located at JADAC unless otherwise
noted.
Information and Education

These groups provide basic information about the
signs, symptoms, and phases of the disease of chemical dependency,
its effects on major life areas, and available treatment, including
self-help. The program consists of four sessions of 90 minutes each.
These groups meet the State requirement for Alcohol/Drug Education
for public intoxication and marijuana possession legal charges.
Fee: $90/4 sessions; no sliding fee scale.
Eligibility: No restrictions.
Referral: Accepts self-referral as well as referral from
family members, health and human service providers, and others in

Inpatient
Detoxification Program

This 30-bed program provides inpatient alcohol
and drug detoxification services and treatment that includes medical
evaluation, medical detoxification, counseling, alcohol/drug education,
introduction to AA/NA, and referral to additional treatment/support
services. The average length of stay is 5 days.
Fee: Accepts many forms of health insurance and third-party
payers. Sliding fee scale based on income for residents of Seven
Counties Services' region.
Eligibility: 18 years or older with alcoholism or other addiction
and not exhibiting active suicidal or homicidal behavior.
Referral: Accepts self-referral as well as referral from

Inpatient Rehabilitation/Residential Services

This 46-bed program provides adult inpatient rehabilitation/residential
alcohol and drug treatment services that include counseling, alcohol/drug
education, relapse prevention, introduction to AA/NA, and referrals
to community resources. It is for persons who have completed JADAC's
detox program. The average length of stay is 15 days.
Fee: Sliding fee scale based on income to residents of Seven
Counties Services' region. Most insurance and other third-party
pay accepted.
Eligibility: 18 years or older who have completed JADAC Inpatient
detoxification program (see above). Clients who have completed the
detox program can be transferred to this program.

Evening Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

This program provides treatment for two to 10
weeks for adults, allowing them to continue working or going to
school while receiving services. Clients attend from two to four
nights a week.
Fee: Accepts many forms of health insurance and third-party
payers. Sliding fee scale based on income available for residents
of Seven Counties' region.
Eligibility: 18 years and older.
Referral: Accepts self-referral and referrals from other

Womens IOP (intensive outpatient program)

Hours: M-F 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
This program provides intensive outpatient treatment
specially designed for addicted/alcoholic women. Clients attend
Monday through Friday from one to five hours daily. Treatment continues
in this program three to six months.
Fee: Insurance accepted and sliding fee scale for residents
of Seven Counties Services' region.
Eligibility: Women 18 years and older with addictions. Priority
is given to Child Protective Services' clients.
Referral: Accepts self-referral as well as referral from

Adult Counseling and Aftercare

These services for adults include assessment,
aftercare education/discussion groups, pre-treatment groups, group
and family counseling, and dual diagnosis groups.
Fee: Sliding scale based on income and many forms of health
insurance.
Eligibility: Persons 18 and older with a primary diagnosis
of addiction and who do not require a more restrictive environment
to benefit from treatment.

Concerned Persons

Hours: Th 6-7:30 p.m.
This program provides an education/discussion
group for persons who are related or close to someone with an alcohol
and/or drug problem. Program consists of 3-4 sessions that a participant
can begin attending at any point of the 3-4-week schedule.
Fee: None. This program is underwritten by Metro United Way.
Eligibility: Persons age 13 and older.
Referral: No appointment necessary. Interested persons should
arrive at 5:45 p.m. for their first session.

Criminal Justice Program

This program provides intervention, outreach,
assessment, alcohol/drug education groups, and individual and group
counseling for persons 18 and older arrested for driving-under-the-influence
(DUI), marijuana possession, or other alcohol/drug-related offenses.
Fee: Sliding fee scale based on income.
Eligibility: Age 18 and older with alcohol and/or drug-related
court involvement.

Project Link

This program offers outreach and case management
services designed to identify, assess, and link pregnant and postpartum
women to addiction treatment and other community resources.
Fee: No cost to participants. The costs of this program are
underwritten by the Ky. Division of Substance Abuse, and it accepts
Medicaid.
Eligibility: Pregnant or postpartum women who have or may
have problems with alcohol/drugs.
Referral: Accepts self-referrals as well as those from families,

Renaissance House

Renaissance House is a halfway house for women
who have completed the alcohol/drug program affiliated with the
Ky. Correctional system, or are referred by the state probation
and parole office. Referrals from parole officers require inpatient
admission at JADAC. Length of stay is 4-7 months. Services include
alcohol/drug education, relapse prevention, recovery dynamics, errors
in thinking, counseling, referral and self-help.
Fees: 40% of income.
Eligibility: Must be referred by KY Correctional staff or
Probation/Parole Officer.
Referral: Accepted only from KY Corrections staff or probation
and parole via Jefferson County East End office. Contact program

addictions and treatment to healthcare and human service providers,
policymakers, as well as training for businesses/industry on how

DUI (Driving-Under-the-Influence) programs

Seven Counties is a state-certified provider of
DUI services, which are available at JADAC in Jefferson County,
and through some of our rural affiliates.
Fee: Determined by state of residency and in what state DUI
committed.
Eligibility: Court-ordered to DUI services.
