Members elect Shelby resident
as new chair
of Seven Counties Services' board of directors
Frank Campisano, an attorney
who resides in Shelby County and practices in Louisville, is the
new chair of the board of directors of Seven Counties Services,
Inc. Campisano will serve a one-year term along with the other newly
elected officers:
Vice Chair: Robert Elliott,
Jefferson County, retired health care administrator and consultant
Treasurer: Charles Heiden,
Jefferson County, retired general, U.S. Army
Secretary: Betty Weis, Jefferson County, consumer mental
health advocate.
Seven Counties Services, Inc. is
a private, non-profit corporation. It provides planning, prevention,
treatment, and supports in the areas of mental health, alcohol and
other drug abuse, and mental retardation and other developmental
disabilities. It serves Bullitt, Henry, Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby,
Spencer and Trimble counties in Kentucky. Seven Counties is Kentucky's
largest comprehensive mental health center, and one of the nation's
largest. More than 1,400 clinical and administrative staff members
provide services to approximately 28,000 persons each year. A volunteer
board of up to 26 citizens, who represent the counties Seven Counties
serves and who have personal and/or professional interest in behavioral
health and developmental disability issues, governs the organization.
